myrtle beachB&WSince a young age I’ve always been interested in a lot of different things, ranging from a lawyer to a veterinarian and many more. After I graduated high school I still felt this sense of confusion on what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I thought about this question for months feeling helpless and upset because so many people around me were heading off to college and pursuing their dreams. While scrolling through Facebook one day I stumbled upon a quote that really caught my attention, it said…”Find something you love and you’ll never work a day in your life” and that’s what I intended to do.

One evening while off from work I began watching E News like any other normal day. I’ve always admired Giuliana Rancic and Ryan Seacrest the two main hosts of E News at that time before Ryan left. They always made it look so easy because even though that was their job they still had fun. Then it was at that moment that I realized that’s what I wanted to do and that quote popped into my head. Since a kid I watched the news and different shows always wanting to be like the people on my television screen but I had just never thought of myself in their position.

Today I am currently a student at the Ohio Center for Broadcasting trying to make those dreams become realty. My plans are to learn everything I possibly can from this school and my internship and once I graduate just dive right in and start working. My goal is to eventually end up on your television one day, and I am hopeful that one day I may inspire someone to follow their dreams as I was inspired.
